It's just a quick thought.
There's alot of people in a bullshit school of thought who tell you not to watch movies. Be original.
There's no such thing as original. And if it existed it existed on a caveman's wall a very long time ago. There is no original. Original doesn't exist.
If you don't watch movies and gain the movie flow then what the fuck is the point?
If you're not stealing a little bit here from art and a little bit there and putting it into your own art what the fuck are you taking from? Magically taking it from your own life? And then when you do... there's something else that exists like it. Because on this planet with fucking something 6 8 90 god knows how fucking many billion (and god is a figurative thing at this point) there's no such thing as original.
You will never be original.
Stanley Kubrick wasn't even original. I'm just not interested enough to research far enough back to do the thing that people do. Well, blah blah blah is like blah blah blah and Kill Bill stole from blah blah blah.

Any person who tells you this and tells you not to watch movies and just create outof some empty urge to create without anything from films is setting you up for failure.
Just wanted to put that out there. But you can go ahead and give it a try. And you'll fail compared to everyone else who watched movies but it'll be wonderful. You'll be unoriginal at failing. But you'll say you tried to be original. And that's special.
